Dan Gîrtofan is the leader after the first day of the rally!

The Pro Rally Team driver manages to win both special stages of the day and finishes the first day of the rally, on the first position, with an advance of 43.3 seconds in front of the occupant of the second position, Daniel Fischer, from Hungary. On the last step of the provisional podium is the Frenchman Maxime Vilmot with 52.8 seconds behind Dan Gîrtofan. Immediately after Maxime, is the Bulgarian Yankov, just over 20 seconds behind the Frenchman.

After the first special stage of the day, Dan Gîrtofan was the leader in the RC2 class and in the rally aswell, with an advance of only 5.8 seconds in front of Fischer. Maxime Vilmot made an excellent debut in the CNRB and managed to rank third, followed by the Bulgarian Gerogi Yankov. Although some time has passed since Norbert Maior was no longer behind the wheel of the little Peugeot 106, he proves again that he is a great driver, managing to position himself in 5th place in the general ranking and first place in the RC5 class.

Andrei Gîrtofan manages to finish in 6th place after the first SS and is the leader in the RC2N class, while the Bulgarian Georgi Geradzhiev ranks immediately behind Giri Jr., being the leader in the RC4 class. Bogdan Cuzma, back in rallies, with the Skoda Fabia Rally2 model, drives elegantly and cleanly, and ranks 8th, followed by another Bulgarian, Yuliyan Teliyski, who is making his rally debut participating only in Hill Climb, in his country. Although he also made show, Tajmel Tiber finished the first stage on the first position of the class 12, while the SSV class is won in the first special stage by Robert Ciobanu.

The second and last special stage of the day is identical for senior Gîrtofan, who is away from his opponent Vilmot Maxime at almost 36 seconds. Daniel Fischer does a pirouette somewhere in the middle of the stage, which determines him to finish the stage only on the third position, 37.5 seconds behind the leader Gîrtofan. Andrei Gîrtofan comes in 4th and remains the leader in the RC2N class, the Bulgarian Yankov comes behind Andrei again, Cuzma starts to get used to the car and finishes 6th. Norbi Maior has difficulties and finishes in 8th position, but remains the leader the RC5 class. Csongor Szabo wins the second special stage in the RC4 class, but the leader remains the Bulgarian Geradzhiev. Tajmel loses the lead to the other competitors and reaches the end of the race only in the 16th position, but remains the leader in class 12 and although Romeo Duicu takes the lead and finishes the second stage in front of his opponent, leader after the first day in the SSV class remains Robert Ciobanu.
